Easier said than done though, isn’t it? You could be heading off to the sun for a few weeks with your family – adventures and memory making on the cards – when, inside, you are dreading every single millisecond of it. Why? Because you constantly sweat the small stuff. So, with that in mind…
1. Don’t sweat the small stuff and employ the mantra “everyone’s fed, nobody’s dead.” I mean, corralling a family of five out the door at 4am doesn’t have to be stressful, does it?
3. Don’t drink your own weight in beer. Well, at least not from lunchtime like last year. Those trips to the bottle bank are MURDER.
4. Do try and read a good book when the kids are in bed. Or at least pretend to read it so you get five minutes alone.
5. Swim. Dance. Spin your kids around. The smiles will follow.
